PURPOSE: To provide a process for separating 1,1-difluoroethane from an azeotropic mixture of 1,1-difluoroethane with hydrogen fluoride which is capable of simultaneously obtaining 1,1-difluoroethane of substantially pure form and recovering hydrogen fluoride in an anhydrous state. ;CONSTITUTION: A process for separating 1,1-difluoroethane from its mixture with hydrogen fluoride obtained at a pressure of higher than 10 bar comprises subjecting the mixture to distillation in a column operating at a pressure of less than 10 bar.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
