PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coated powder such as a silver- coated copper powder excellent in resistance to moisture and oxidation, exhibiting a stabilized characteristic without being deteriorated on ageing and having good conductivity at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: A soln. contg. a powder such as metallic copper powder and a substance for coating the powder surface is strongly agitated with a power of ≥0.05kg.cm/sec per liter of the soln. to deposit the coating substance such as metallic silver or metallic silver and metallic palladium or metallic silver and palladium alloy or silver alloy on the surface of such a powder as metllic copper powder, and a coated powder such as a silver-coated copper powder is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
