PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique having an excellent workability capable of simultaneously drawing two plate stocks with one press die in correspondence to the difference of the forming part shape in the inner and outer surfaces at the time of mutually superposing and manufacturing two formed stocks in order to provide a hollow part inside. ;SOLUTION: This hollow insulator is manufactured via a first process forming a flange 1a and a recessed part 1b in the outer plate 1 forming one surface side of the insulator or the like and forming the volume M of the recessed part 1b larger than the volume (m) of the hollow part 7 set in the insulator, a second process putting the outer plate 1 into a lower die 3, filling a liquid 5 in the recessed part 1b and placing the inner plate 2 forming the other surface side of the insulator on the outer plate 1, a third process pressing the whole outer peripheral edges of the flange 1a and the inner plate 2 using a blank holder 6 with the force possible to slide both plates 1, 2 into the die at the time of drawing, a fourth process forming the outer plate 1 with the lower die 3 and the inner plate 2 with the upper die 4 respectively via the liquid 5 at the time of drawing with the upper die 4, a fifth process superposing the outer plate 1 and the inner plate 2 and mutually fixing their peripheral edges after discharging the liquid 5 from the recessed part 1b of the outer plate 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
