PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems for videotaping, editing, and distributing knowledge contents of scientific meetings, etc. which a viewer views as if the viewer were at the site without attending the meeting, etc., and reproduces and views images of the lectures, etc. together with reference materials, by providing a videotaping system which videotapes lectures, etc. in scientific meetings with a low cost and high quality, and an editing device which facilitates video editing. PSOLUTION: The videotaping system of lectures, etc. in scientific meetings, etc., comprises: a first means of outputting the image and voice of a lecturer as digital image and voice signals; a second means of outputting the images and voices of the lecturer and screen, the lecturer, the screen and the master of ceremony, or the whole place of meeting as digital image and voice signals; a third means of outputting the image of the screen as a digital image signal; a start button to start the first means or the third means simultaneously; and a switching/compression digital videotape recorder of a three channel integrated type.
