PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fatigue safety factor test apparatus and a fatigue safety factor test method, which can accurately and rapidly calculate fatigue safety factors of respective sections by using an automatic process and can improve the efficiency of design and development.;SOLUTION: The fatigue safety factor test apparatus is provided with a normalized stress calculating section 14, a fatigue safety factor calculating section 15 and a function table 18. The function table 18 stores a transform function which normalizes fatigue limit value for every temperature and transforms them into normalized fatigue limit values. The normalized stress calculating section 14 normalizes stress values occurring in components for every temperature of the components by using the transform function for the fatigue limit value relating to materials for every temperature and outputs them as normalized stress values. The fatigue safety factor calculating section 15 calculates the fatigue safety factor of the component on the basis of the normalized stress values and the normalized fatigue limit values obtained by normalizing the fatigue limit value for every temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
