PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind load estimation method in which an estimation accuracy of a wind load is improved by substantially reducing limitations caused by involvement of user operations while the wind load is estimated.;SOLUTION: The wind load estimation method to estimate wind effects on an object comprises a step (a) in which a drawing of the object is read by a scanner and image data thereof is generated, a step (b) in which an image is displayed on a display part based on the image data, a step (c) in which partial data corresponding to a part of the object is generated by designating the part using the image data displayed on the display part, a step (d) in which predictor variables describing the shape of the object are calculated based on the partial data, and step (e) in which a wind load is estimated by substituting the predictor variables into a wind load estimate equation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
