PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate concrete structure beam having necessary and sufficient strength against a given design load at a low cost and a construction provided therewith.;SOLUTION: The steel plate concrete structure beam is so constituted that a first steel plate (2) of yield tensile stress σy is connected to a second steel plate (4) placed in parallel to the first steel plate with a plurality of web members (6) and that a space between both first and second steel plates is filled with a concrete (8), and the steel plate concrete structure beam (1) having the height H, the width B and the maximum bending momentmax of an interval Lw between web members is so constituted that the thickness t of the first steel plate having the maximum tensile load is within a range of Mmax/(σyBH)≤t≤1.12[Mmax/(σyBH)] and that the interval Lw between both web members is within a rang of 0.5H≤Lw≤3H.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
