PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional automatic measuring method that can surely measure, even when the target position of a measured object is shifted.;SOLUTION: The coordinate of measuring reference point as a measuring target point to operate a contact type sensor as the information of a measuring point is input (S1), the searching condition of a bolt being a measuring target is input (S2), and then the presence or absence of the bolt is searched, based on the search condition (S4-S9, S11-S13). When the bolt can be detected here, the position of the measuring target point is compensated to be set at the tentative target point, based on the detected position of the bolt (S10).
