PURPOSE: To massively obtain the seedlings of the subject medicinal ginseng having the same characteristics as those grown on ground by multiplying and germinating the adventitious buds of the tissue of the medicinal ginseng belonging to the Panax in a specific medium. ;CONSTITUTION: The adventitious buds of the tissue of a medicinal ginseng such as Panax ginseng or Panax japonicus are cultured in a medium containing water and a carbon source (e.g. glucose, galactose, sucrose) in a ratio of 1L:40-200g (preferably 50-150g), and the multiplied adventitious buds are germinated in a medium of 1L of water and 5-25g of the carbon source to provide the objective seedlings.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
