PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for judging the retrial of transmis sion to an electronic price label(EPL). ;SOLUTION: This system and method are especially related to judge the retrial frequency of transmission of an EPL data message to an EPL 18 in an EPL system. Transmitters 12, 10 transmit a data message to each EPL 18. Receivers 12, 16 receive a return signal from each EPL 18. A storing system 28 stores a status flag expressing 1st frequency for transmitting a data message from the transmitter to the EPL 18 based upon the ratio (S/N) of an established signal to noise. A communication base station(CBS) 10 judges a new S/N obtained from a return signal. An execution time analyzer program 26 judges whether the new S/N is less than an S/N range including the established S/N or not, and when the new S/N is less than the range, presents a new status flag expressing 2nd transmission frequency more than the 1st transmission frequency.
