PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airflow direction changing device for an air conditioner, simple in structure and capable of being easily manufactured and assembled while smooth in the pivoting operation of a vane and reduced in noises at a place of the vane. ;SOLUTION: A diffuser port (201), attached pivotally to the inner wall (202) of the diffuser port (201) through a rotary bearing (210), is provided at the ends of both sides with a first kind of vane (231) and a second kind of vane (232). A plurality of third kind vanes (223) are arranged at the intermediate position of the vanes to connect a first kind of vane (231), a second kind of vane (232) and a third kind of vane (223) through a connecting arm (214). According to this constitution, the kind of vanes is reduced and a mechanism for changing the opening degree of the vanes sequentially is realized by a simple constitution whereby the manufacturing and assembling can be simplified and the manufacturing cost is reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
