MOVABLE COIL LINEAR MOTOR AND SINGLE SPINDLE ROBOT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable coil linear motor in which a stator does not touch the inner circumferential surface of a coil, and to provide a single spindle robot.;SOLUTION: The movable coil linear motor comprises a coil 21 which a rod-like stator 22 penetrates, and a slider body 51 (coil holding member) for containing the coil 21. A space surrounded by the inner surface of the slider body 51 and a seal member 59 (wall member) provided at both ends of the slider body 51 in the moving direction thereof is filled with epoxy resin 54. The coil 21 is secured to the slider body 51 by the epoxy resin 54. A resin bearing 66 (slide bearing) fitting slidably to the stator 22 is fixed to the seal member 59. The central axis of the inside diameter of the resin bearing 66 is aligned or substantially aligned with respect to the central axis of the stator through hole of the coil 12.
