PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fixing component which is accurately arranged and fixed optical fibers, and has a strengthened substrate member. ;SOLUTION: On the beam part 1c of a substrate member 1 where V-shaped grooves 1a for arranging optical fiber elements and casing placing part 1b for mounting a casing of a optical fiber cable, a temporarily positioning member 2 is fixed such that it string over V-shaped grooves 1a. Because the gaps between the temporarily positioning member 2 and V-shaped grooves 1a are smaller than the outer diameter of optical fiber wire, optical fiber wire inserted from back side does not move to its adjacent groove. The substrate member 1 is fixed with a cover member 3 and casing part of the optical fiber cable using adhesive agent such that optical fiber wires which are inserted from back side and arranged on the V-shaped grooves are pushed by the cover member 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
