PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve excavation work efficiency. ;SOLUTION: A cylindrical main body 12 of an excavation device 10 is provided to a loop-shaped excavation trench in the case an embedded matter is located in the circumferential edge section of an area to be excavated. The cylindrical main body 12 is provided with a wiring groove formed in the circumferential direction of the lower part of the inside circumference, and rise-up sections 20a and 20b of earth and sand cut-off wire 20 set in the wiring groove set in the wiring groove are pulled out upward of the cylindrical main body 12. An earth and sand receiving sheet is stored in a sheet storage section 28 in the cylindrical main body 12. The earth and sand receiving sheet is mounted to sheet holding wires 40 and 42 and a pulling out wire 44, and the earth and sand cut-off wire 20 is placed to a cutting section to be cut off by pulling out rise-up operationg sections 44b and 44c of the pulling out wire 44. The earth and sand receiving sheet is pulled out from the ground together with the cylindrical main body 12 to make it possible to excavate the earth and sand in the cylindrical main body 1 to move.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
