PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently attach a molding clip to a desired position by forming a molding clip for covering an attaching part between a window frame and a window panel by fixing a molding therebetween by providing an engaging catch engaged with the engaging part of the molding to lock the molding. ;SOLUTION: For attaching a synthetic resin molding clip 1 composed of a plate-like clip main body 2 and a molding clip piece 3 connected thereto, by using a molding clip attaching tool having a pair of freely extended arm members locked in step parts 2b provided in both ends of the backside of the molding clip 1, the molding clip 1 is positioned with respect to a window frame 52 formed in the roof panel 51 and bonded by an adhesive tape 41. Then, the leg part 73 of the molding 71 is pushed between the molding clip piece 3 and the window frame 52, an engaging part 73a is engaged with an engaging catch 3a formed in the backside of the molding clip piece 3 and the attaching part between the window frame 52 and a window panel 61 is covered with the ornamental part of the molding 71.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
