PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage plural information equipment and to improve user's operability for using each information equipment by acquiring position information closer to a practical position in each of plural information equipments connected through a network.;SOLUTION: An information equipment system connecting plural information equipments such personal computers(PCs) A to E and printers F to H through the network N is provided with a position coordinate table for storing position information expressing the physical positions of respective information equipments A to H and a logical distance calculation part for correcting a physical distance from a certain PC based on the position information to each printer in accordance with the frequency of printing of the printer allowed by the PC.
