PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysulfide resin which has excellent optical physical properties, and is easily dyeable.;SOLUTION: A polymerizable composition comprises an episulfide compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X and Y are each a 1-10C substituted or unsubstituted, straight chain, branched, or cyclic, hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted 1,4-dithiane group, an arylene group, or an aralkylene group; m and p are each an integer of 0-2; and n and q are each an integer of 0-4).
