PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for a lithographic printing plate and a processing method for the lithographic printing plate using the original plate wherein developing process is not necessary, a new lithographic printing original plate for carrying out image formation and erasion and a processing method for the lithographic printing plate using the original plate and the manufacturing (regenerating) method of the original plate for lithographic printing. ;SOLUTION: The surface of an original plate for a lithographic printing plate is formed of an inorganic compound solid material composed of elements of two kinds or more selected out of the IIIA, IVA and VA elements of the periodic table, and in the case the inorganic compound is Si3N4 an image is formed by emitting laser beams of 800-1200 nm on an original plate for the lithographic printing plate, and then the image is erased by emitting 10-20 m laser beams.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
