PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for displaying railway ticket sales screen and a guide system in a station premise enabling a railway ticket to be purchased smoothly and with little confusion even in the station premise.;SOLUTION: This railway ticket sale system, having a railway ticket vending machine which has transmission and reception functions by a near radio and a cell phone incorporating a near radio transmitting and receiving function enabling the send and receive from the ticket vending machine comprises a means for transmitting the information on a target station from the cell phone to the ticket vending machine and a means for displaying on the ticket vending machine, based on the information on the target station transmitted by that means, a fare for a section in between a station, where a user is located at present, and the target station.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
