PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that display of help screens is troublesome and operations for deleting the screens are complicated when a user is an expert since in existing techniques, the help screens being automatically displayed, while it may take the expert a certain period of time to think operation contents even when operated by the expert.;SOLUTION: This reception device with a help screen automatic display function is provided with: (a) a lapsed time measurement part which measures a lapsed time required from a specific operation of an n-th (n is one or more natural number) screen to a specific operation of an (n+m)-th (m is one or more natural number) screen; (b) a comparison part for comparing the lapsed time with a first threshold; and (c) a control part for controlling display or non-display of the help screen based on the comparison result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
