PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle lead to enable the reuse of it by removing radioactive substances from the lead whose surface is contaminated with them.;SOLUTION: After fused contaminated lead and fused molten salt are stirred and put into contact with each other in the same tank and are left at rest, the molten salt containing contaminants is removed by being separated in the layer above the lead by the difference of the specific gravities of them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
