PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for a connection part of an oil passing body and a method therefor which prevent a leakage of oil in a short time by simple construction, and form a compact outer shape to provide satisfactory appearance.;SOLUTION: This protection device for the connection part of the oil passing body is composed of a first collar application member 7 and a second collar application member 8 abutting on whole peripheries on outer peripheral end faces of a collar body 2 on one side and a collar body 4 on the other side and holding them, respectively, and a link member 9 connected with the whole of an outer peripheral part of the first collar application member and the second collar application member. The first collar application member and the second collar application member are formed by dividing them into two parts in the axial direction of the oil passing body. Elastic members 10 abutting on the collar body on one side and the collar body on the other side elastically are provided on an abutting face of the collar body on one side and the collar body on the other side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
