PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the control of blast furnace granulated slag fine aggregate and to improve effective utilization of the blast furnace granulated slag for fine aggregate for concrete by preventing the caking peculiar to the blast furnace granulated slag fine aggregate without using a caking preventing agent (caking retarder). PSOLUTION: The blast furnace granulated slag is wet-classified by a wet sieving apparatus 5 so that the 0.6 mm pass mass percentage becomes 12% and washed with a fresh water. It is preferable to classify in the upstream side and to wash in the downstream side of the same sieving apparatus. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
