PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating and estimating a quality such as fractional defective of a product produced by series of manufacturing opera tion, in a manufacturing work. SOLUTION: This method has a workshop database preparing process for preparing and storing a database for workshop evaluation, a workshop evaluating process for extracting a defect occurrence frequency index corresponding to a standard workshop level concerning each workshop condition defect influence item in the inputted workshop, totaling this index over desired plural workshop condition defect influence items, evaluating, estimating the ease in the defect occurrence of reference production work in the production workshop and storing the result in the database for product evaluation as a workshop index, and a product evaluating process for evaluating and estimating the quality showing work defect frequency as a product produced by plural kinds of production work, while using the workshop index in the production workshop.
