PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long hour playing capability for an electronic musical instrument, which is operated by dry cells and batteries, by saving power consumption. ;SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument is provided with a playing condition detecting means which detects the playing condition of a player and a control means which scans the playing condition detecting means for every prescribed time and controls musical sound in accordance with the scanning result.
