"PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PARENTAL ADMINISTRATION, METHOD OF TREATMENT OF A PATIENT SUFFERING FROM HEMOPHILIA, USE OF A COLLIDAL PARTICLE, AND METHOD OF TREATMENT OF A PATIENT SUFFERING FROM A DISEASE". A pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a protein or polypeptide and colloidal particles. The particles comprise approximately 1-20 mol percent of an amphipathic lipid derived with a biocompatible hydrophilic polymer. The protein or polypeptide is selected from the group consisting of: (a) proteins or polypeptides capable of binding externally to said colloidal particles; (b) proteins or polypeptides capable of binding to polymers of poly (alkyl ether), poly (lactic acid) and poly (glycolic acid) families; and (c) proteins or polypeptides which include an S / TX / I / VI / V / Q / SS / TXXXE consensus sequence, wherein X may be any amino acid, and S, T, L, I, E, and Q have the default meanings. The protein or polypeptide is not Factor VIII (FVIII) and is not encapsulated in colloidal particles.
