PROTECTION SYSTEM ACTING AGAINST PROPELLER-EQUIPPED ROCKETS OF THE RPG TYPE

The invention is composed of a protective specially arranged tough mesh 12 into the gaps 19 of which a surface made of polyester air-sheet 13 meant for the sufficient electric insulation of the meshis adapted. The metal surfaces of the mesh 12 are provided -all along their length- with holes 24 allowing numerous electrodes 23 to pass therethrough. The mesh 12 has at one side the toothed conductible rocket entrance 14 and at the other side the conductible rocket exit 15. An electronic control unit 16 is connected to all electrodes 23 assisting the transfer of data from the impact surfaces tothe foregoing unit. The unit 16 is programmed to interrupt the electric energy produced by the piezoelectric crystal at a detonation head of the rocket impacting against the conductible entrance 14 of the protecting mesh 12. This protection system provides protection against mortal rockets equipped with RPG-type propeller.
