摘要

Modification of one- and multi-walled nanotubes involves fixing an aromatic compound to the outer surface of the nanotubes by chemical bonds. Modification of one- and multi-walled nanotubes involves fixing an aromatic compound of formula Ar(X) n(I) to the outer surface of the nanotubes by chemical bonds. When, in the suspension of the carbon nanotubes, a diazonium salt of formula Y 1-N-Ar(X) n(II) is produced by reacting an amine compound of formula H 2N-Ar(X) n(III) and diazotizing agent, then the obtained diazonium salt (II) is decomposed. Ar : frame of a 1-3 ring homoaromatic or heteroaromatic group; n : an integer equal to the number of atoms or groups connectable to the Ar frame; X : hydrogen atom, polar group or optionally substituted alkyl (preferably sulfo-, phosphono-, nitro- or carboxyl); Y 1anion of the diazonium salt. Provided that: the X groups connecting to the Ar frame is other than amino; and upto 5 of the X groups are different from hydrogen atom.
