The invention relates to the control, automation and optimization of the power house based on diesel generators. This invention is based on model based optimization scheme. According to the invention the control automation and optimization system for energy generation based on diesel generating sets for a power house comprises a group of gensets. These gensets are made to work efficiently and more economically by analyzing and processing the signals obtained from each genset. One or more computers do this analysis and processing.
