The invention concerns a strain gauge which, in order to compensate the bridge null shift non-linearity at very low temperatures, in at least one of the bridge branches, is series connected with a resistance (c), for example a connecting strand, having a much less lower value than that of the gauge and whereon is parallel connected a compensating circuit including a resistive element, for example a platinum probe (P), whereof the resistance varies according to temperature so as to influence the value of the resistance whereon it is parallel connected, at low temperature ranges, substantially and increasingly when the temperature decreases.
