The invention relates to a process for bentonite acid activation and may be used in the wine industry and for juice production.The process for bentonite acidic activation includes comminution of natural bentonite, soaking thereof into water, bentonite acid treatment, separation of bentonite suspension, drying and comminution of activated bentonite. The bentonite acid treatment is carried out during 24 hours by introducing into its aqueous suspension the cationite КУ-1 or КУ-2-8, or КБ-4, in the ratio bentonite suspension:cationite of (4…8):1 with periodic mixing, and separation of the bentonite suspension is carried out by filtration thereof through the sieve.The result of the invention consists in the acceleration of the process for activated bentonite obtaining with reduced content of Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions.
