The mould (100) is for the manufacture particularly of concrete blocks and has an inner mould with a grid formed by intersecting strips, together with a square-shaped inner mould frame (111) extending around the grid and rigidly fixed to it. A square-shaped outer mould frame (150) extends around the inner mould. The inner mould in a vertical direction has a freedom of movement in relation to the outer mould frame. The mould has sprung coupling components (160) which permit a relatively vertical displacement of the inner mould in relation to the outer mould frame and in order to transmit a vertically downward directed force from the outer mould frame to the inner mould.
