Delivery systems that sequentially deliver two or more long-life baits for sustained control of pests

A method of controlling pests with a bait dispenser system is described. The dispenser is operated to dispense a first pest feed, and to automatically dispense the second feed sequentially. The first feed is disclosed to comprise either a non-toxic pest feed or a chronic poison, and the second feed to comprise an acute poison. The chronic poison is an anticoagulant which includes warfarin, pindone and difethialone; and the acute poison includes cholecalciferol, norboromide and cyanide. The dispenser is described to comprise a housing; a rod on which the blocks of bait slide along; and a first opening in the housing through which the rod protrudes. A bracket supports the end of the rod and allows the endmost bait to be exposed below the housing for access by the pest.
