Disclosed is a compound which is a derivative of general formula 1, wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification. The composition is useful in the treatment of hormone dependent cancer, endometriosis, benign prostate hyperplasia. It is additionally useful as a contraceptive agent or as a behaviour modifying agent.
