Disclosed are pyridobenzoxazine carboxylic acid derivatives of formula (I), wherein: R1 is a methyl, fluoromethyl, methoxymethyl, acetoxymethyl, hydroxymethyl or methylene group; R2 is a H atom, a lower alkyl group or a pharmaceutically acceptable cation and an ester of a prodrug; R3 is a H atom or halogen atom; R4 is a H atom, lower alkyl group, a fluoromethyl group, a trifluoromethyl group or F atom; R5 is a H atom or F atom. With the proviso that when R1 is a methyl group, R3 is a F atom then one of the groups represented by R2, R4 and R5 is other than a hydrogen atom.
