Described is a using of an anti-stress agent or a functional food comprising as effective agent at least one fermented sour milk for the manufacture of a drug for the treatment of stress. The said fermented sour milk can be prepared by fermenting an animal or vegetable milk starting material with lactic acid bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus.
