METHOD FOR DETECTING HELICOBACTER PYLORI IN GALL BLADDER BIOPSY SPECIMENS

The method for detecting Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in gall bladder biopsy specimens comprises specific immunohistochemical reaction in the section of the specimen obtained followed by the light microscopy of the specimen. The absorption to the entire spectrum of H. pylori proteins with the cross-reacting proteins of other bacteria including those of Helicobacter sp. is employed. For unmasking the antigen, the sections are exposed to the specified physical and chemical factors. The finding of the twisted forms of bacteria suggests the infection of the gall bladder with H. pylori.
