METHOD FOR PREVENTIVE TREATMENT OF ISCHEMIA ATTACKS IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE

The method for the preventive treatment of the ischemia attacks in the patients with the ischemic heart disease comprises round-the-clock electrocardiogram monitoring with the analysis of ST segment in real time mode. The cardiorecording device is connected with the system for informing the patient. In addition, the mean values of the standard deviation for all normal cardiointervals (SDNN) are analyzed. The following parameters are also assessed for each 5-min interval: the oscillation output for cardiointervals of low and high frequencies (LFp and HFp), sympathetico-vagus index (LFp/HFp), and R. Baievskyi's index of strength. The simultaneous more than 2.5-fold increase in Baievskyi's index and SDNN and more than 1.5-fold increase in LFp/HFp ratio are regarded as the indication for taking nitroglycerin at a dose of 0.5 mg sublingually.
