The proposed method for converting voltage implies applying direct voltage to the bridge power amplifier, generating triangular and rectangular pulses, generating the pulse-length-modulated control signal depending on the current feedback signal, amplifying the control signal, and controlling the power switches of the bridge power amplifier. As a power-supply source for the bridge power amplifier, a rectifier is used that is connected to the ac mains via a circuit breaker with a unit for protecting the converter against current overload and short circuit. To generate the current feedback signal, a current transducer is used that is connected to the unit for protecting the converter against current overload and short circuit.
