PROCESS FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF PARESIS OF LARYNX DUE TO INJURY OF PHARYNGEAL NERVES IN THYROID SURGERY

The process for the early diagnosis of the paresis of larynx due to the injury of the pharyngeal nerves in the thyroid surgery comprises the ultrasonic scanning and computed laryngovideostroboscopic examination. The level, the symmetry and the amplitude of the movements of the vocal folds as well as the symmetry and the closing of the trough of glottis are assessed.
