The method for the conservative treatment of the trigeminal neuralgia, predominantly of peripheral origin, provides for the blockades of the peripheral branches of the trigeminal nerve performed as conduction anesthesia by the topical anesthetics. The course of the treatment comprises 14 injections according to the empirically developed schedule: first, six injections every other day, later on û prophylactic treatment preventing the recurrence, which comprises four injections performed in 2 and 8 months upon the end of the major course of the treatment.
