METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE ACTIVITY OF FREE RADICAL LIPID PEROXIDATION IN BIOLOGICAL SUBSTRATES

The proposed method for determining the activity of free radical lipid peroxidation in biological substrates consists in mixing small quantity of undiluted arterial and venous blood of a human being, blood of an experimental animal, and the homogenates of the internal organs of an experimental animal with potassium-phosphate buffer solution, treating the obtained biological substrate by centrifuge, holding the treated substrate at a specified constant temperature, and determining the activity of free radical lipid peroxidation by the intensity of the spontaneous induced chemiluminescence and the intensity of the weak luminescence of the substrate.
