METHOD OF SUBSTITUTION THERAPY FOR TREATING HEPATIC FAILURE

The method of the substitution therapy for treating the hepatic failure consists in the blood extracorporeal purification provided by the xenogenic liver. The purified blood is returned to the body. The dialysis circuit comprising two dialyzers filled with albumin is employed. Upon the perfusion in the first dialyzer, the purified blood is returned to the body. Albumin with the bound toxins is directed to the second dialyzer and after the purification is returned to the first dialyzer. Albumin with the bound toxins from the second dialyzer is directed to the xenogenic liver. Upon utilization, the purified albumin goes to the second dialyzer.
