METHOD FOR COMPLEX ASSESSMENT OF QUALITY OF LIFE IN CHILDREN WITH ARRHYTHMIA

The method for the complex assessment of the quality of life in the children with arrhythmia comprises the questionnaire, the clinical and instrumental examination of the patients, the assessment of psychoemotional state and the state of autonomic nervous system, the assessment of adaptation. Then the findings of such assessment are entered into database and processed. Each component is quantified. The quality of life in the children with arrhythmia is assessed according to the formula: where QL is an absolute index for the quality of life in the child with arrhythmia scored in points, QLmax is an absolute index for the maximal assessment of the quality of life in the child with arrhythmia according to the questionnaire, QL% is an index for the quality of life in the child with arrhythmia calculated in percents. The values within 100-70% suggest the good quality of life. The values within 69-31 % point to the moderate worsening and the values below 30% -substantial worsening of the quality of life in the child with arrhythmia.
