METHOD OF ISOLATING SELF-INCOMPATIBLE PLANTS OF CREEPING ALFALFA

A method to isolate self-incompatible plants of creeping alfalfa is carried out by means of self-pollination, in particular zygosis of gametes produced by the same flower. In doing so the self-incompatible plants revealed are subjected to additional examination by using geitonogamic pollination types, in particular within the flowers of a racemation, between the flowers of the racemations of one stem and flowers of the racemations of different stems.
