The separator has a wall (2) for contacting gases and depositing oil in the separator, where the gases enter through an inlet into an upper part of a heat-exchanging device. A turning chamber (3) cools and transforms the oil with an internal flow of a cooling fluid. The heat-exchanging device is made from a pattern formed foil strip which is folded into a bundle that creates a set of multiple channels for the gases.
