The modulator circuit (1) has at least 2 inputs for reception of respective baseband signals with an identical datarate, each of which is converted into a quadrature amplitude modulation signal in the intermediate frequency range, with summation of the converted signals to provide a single data flow supplied to the output of the modulator circuit.
