The system transmits and receives information through wireless communication and through an optical fiber. The system includes a repeater, an antenna, a filter and a BTS integrated with the optical fiber system for processing and filtering the RF band used in transmitting and receiving information. Part of the information is transmitted and received using the RF band, while the other part is transmitted and received via the optical fiber. Electro-optical devices are also included to complete the RF system and optical fiber system.
