The present invention relates to novel chip compositions comprising alkyleneglycol, benefit agent and fumed silica. Use of chipscomprising excess of alkylene glycol over benefit agent and fumed silica hasbeen found to allow significant deposition of benefit agentwithout compromising processing. In a second embodiment, the inventioncomprises bar compositions comprising mixtures of the chipsof the invention and chips containing defined surfactant systems. Theinvention further comprises a process for forming the chips of theinvention and a method of enhancing deposition without compromising processingusing the chips of the invention.
