A method of using a device which goes over and between the legs for raisingandsupporting human testes during ultrasound inspection, to assist in supportingand positioningsame for ultrasonic imaging and inspection when the patient is in a supineposition. A pairof spaced-apart downwardly curved members are provided, having a radius ofcurvatureapproximating the curvature of a leg of a patient proximate the thigh area.Intermediate eachof said curved members is a substantially flat support member, which may bewider at oneend than the other opposite end, to permit positioning of such support memberbeneath thetestes of a male patient and between the legs of a patient to raise andsupport such testes topermit ultrasonic examination of such testes. The device may be a unitary one-piececonstruction, preferably of a moulded plastic , which also facilitates easysterilization topermit re-use of the device on subsequent patients. The radius of curvature ofeach of thecurved members may be greater at one end of the device than the other tobetter fit and moreuniformly rest over the respective thigh portions of the legs of the patient.
